Best of British Membership for Newbus Grange

Newbus Grange Country Park, one of the Maguires Country Parks holiday home locations has been recognised as a member of the Best of British following a major investment.

The country park at Neasham near Hurworth in Darlington, received the highly respected commendation following its £20,000 investment in a brand new children's adventure play area. This now places it in a very select group of parks across the country.

The Best of British is a select body which recognises Five-Star touring and holiday parks which are committed to providing the highest level quality facilities and customer service.

The Best of British touring and holiday park members have attained a five star grading, which is the highest level possible. They are required to provide the highest standards of service and facilities possible and treat customers with special attention.

The picturesque Newbus Grange Country Park is situated by the River Tees, on the outskirts of Darlington. The park sits on 12 and half acres of land and features a range of holiday homes in a woodland setting along with laundrette and reception centre.

It was only last year the park invested £20,000 in the brand new children's adventure land play area featuring a tree house, climbing ropes and swings.

Another of the Maguires Country Parks, Ord House in Berwick-upon-Tweed also has the Best of British status.

Billy Maguire from Maguires Country Parks, said: "The important investments we have made at the park have come to fruition through the Best of British accreditation. We have guests who return to the park on a regular basis and always provide excellent feedback and I believe it is our customers who help us secure these awards.

"Being accredited as Best of British highlights Newbus Grange's high level of customer service and our staff put all their efforts into making customers feel at home in the park.

"We are committed to maintaining the quality of Newbus Grange which has made it a popular visitor destination in the region."

Agreed, Gray. However I managed to get the latest supercession (the blue whale pump) for 83 quid so that swings the assembly versus valve block in my favur I feel. It also comes with a pushfit strainer which is a good idea although now requires a little scheming with the pipe run. There's not enough room to fit into the proper spot; plugged directly into the pump, so I decided to buy some 'spares' from Leisure Shop Direct for those 'eventualities'. I will fit the strainer ahead of the director valve with a purchased stem elbow connector which will allow the feed from the external tanks to plug into the strainer. Hopefully the spares will turn up by Thursday as we are away for the weekend starting Friday dinner and I'd rather have the extra filter in line if at all possible
