Best of British Membership for Newbus Grange

Newbus Grange Country Park, one of the Maguires Country Parks holiday home locations has been recognised as a member of the Best of British following a major investment.

The country park at Neasham near Hurworth in Darlington, received the highly respected commendation following its £20,000 investment in a brand new children's adventure play area. This now places it in a very select group of parks across the country.

The Best of British is a select body which recognises Five-Star touring and holiday parks which are committed to providing the highest level quality facilities and customer service.

The Best of British touring and holiday park members have attained a five star grading, which is the highest level possible. They are required to provide the highest standards of service and facilities possible and treat customers with special attention.

The picturesque Newbus Grange Country Park is situated by the River Tees, on the outskirts of Darlington. The park sits on 12 and half acres of land and features a range of holiday homes in a woodland setting along with laundrette and reception centre.

It was only last year the park invested £20,000 in the brand new children's adventure land play area featuring a tree house, climbing ropes and swings.

Another of the Maguires Country Parks, Ord House in Berwick-upon-Tweed also has the Best of British status.

Billy Maguire from Maguires Country Parks, said: "The important investments we have made at the park have come to fruition through the Best of British accreditation. We have guests who return to the park on a regular basis and always provide excellent feedback and I believe it is our customers who help us secure these awards.

"Being accredited as Best of British highlights Newbus Grange's high level of customer service and our staff put all their efforts into making customers feel at home in the park.

"We are committed to maintaining the quality of Newbus Grange which has made it a popular visitor destination in the region."

    • Damp (Maybe) ???
      By Gray · Posted
OUR caravan engineer does a set damp test every year and he has done all but one of our services since 2003 when we got the caravan  The meters that record an amount of moisture as slightly better than the noise producing one in that it quantifies the moisture But I understand what Mark means about false positives as some materials have lower resistances so produce a false positive Pictures I agree with as by superimposing the images you can see progress     Also if your van is a 2008 that means it's 6 year damp cover is up check out your insurance about damp too

Thanks Mark there really isn't much to take a pic of and im not sure the camera would show it, I would have to peel it back with my hand, Its only peeled about half an inch all the way along the top of the cupboard. Oddly though its only the two corner units and not the one across the middle that joins them. I will take a pic for you but im not going back out for a week or so to give my de humidifiers a chance. I personally think and hope that its caused by condensation through 5 of us sleeping with the heating on etc.
