Correction to my post, the cost was £524 not an approximate figure quoted, SWMBO nearly always writes down everything on a daily basis on her calendar and fished out the old calendar and had written £524 for the crossing. Those were the days I miss. As to the crossing times we do the exact reverse catch the 02.45am early morning crossing so when we leave Rosslaire about 06.30am or thereabouts we are in Killarney before 12.00 noon set up by 14.00hrs  and a glass in one hand and bottle in the other by one minute past. We catch the 20.45hrs from Rosslaire back so when we set off about 12.30am we arrive back home about 07.00am just in time for the storage to open and driving at night is an absolute pleasure  very little traffic and no grief.
