We have these on our new caravan. They are good but we had to change our battery eventhough it had worked well with our previous Truma mover.
It seems that if the battery goes below a certain level of around 12.5amps the mover switches itself off after a few seconds and you the have to switch the main switch off and leave for 20 seconds and then switch it on again. You then have another 60 seconds or so without using the mover before it switches off again.
This was very annoying because we live on a main road and I have to take my chance when there is no traffic. Kept missing opportunites because it had gone off.
I rang Powrtouch and they said it was probably the battery.
I have now changed the battery and haven't had any more problems. I do wonder what would happen if you are not on EHU and your battery is below 12.5 amps. As I say it will move the van if you use it quickly enough but the switching off is really annoying.
The remote control is not that easy to understand and reading the instructions is a must! Press the wrong sequence and you are back to switching off at the main switch again!!!
The automatic roller engagement is good but very slow, however the power of the motors now means we don't have to give the van a helping hand up the small slope on the pavement outside our house.
It has 3 speeds, slow, slower and really slow but in my view only lends to make a rather complicated procedure more complicated. One speed is probably enough. They do seem to hang rather low on our van but we haven't hit anything yet so I presume there won't be a problem.
We have only used it a couple of times so I will reserve my judgement until I can we can give it a real test in March.
Perhaps Powrtouch might like to comment?

Can I just clarify.. are you talking Amps or Volts???
Thanks in anticipation.
G.
12.5 volts as cut off threshold seems a bit on the high side a fully charged battery will only float around 12.7 volts and any appreciable working load will soon reduce this down to around 12.5 volts.
