New for 2012 Ludlow Touring Park

caravanning and camping articles Morris Leisure is calling on years of experience of running high quality parks to ensure that the new Ludlow Touring Park will offer touring caravan and motorhome owners five star luxury all year round.

The park will have 135 luxury pitches with water, electricity, digital TV and wi-fi connection, a high class reception building and toilet facilities, which are centrally heated and a fully equipped laundry.

Full site security by electrically operated barriers, facilities for the disabled, a children's play area, well lit Tarmacadam roads and especially large RV pitches are other facets of the park.

Ideally placed to explore the Welsh Marches, the park is within walking distance or a short drive of Ludlow, described by Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman as: "The most perfect town in England".

There are some pretty good progress photos here

More information can be found on the Morris Leisure website

Ludlow Touring Park is due to open 9th May 2012

Ludlow is very nice and in an attractive location. This site should attract a lot of visitors.
We went for a day trip by train and liked it very much.

In June it works out at £30 a night which is way too expensive for us. Rather go to Brean near the beach at £13.50 a night!

Yes I thought that it might be very expensive. Just the same as their other sites.
This is too much for us as well.

Myself and SWMBO went down to Ludlow for the food festival in September and loved it. Thirty pounds a night may sound expensive but there's no way we're going to find alternative accomodation for two adults, two children and a dog at that price.

Pretty sure we'll be paying them a visit before the year is out :-)

Just did a booking search for your family, and dog its just short of £35 a night, thats not cheap
I did use the 1st June for 14 nights which would have weighted it due to some Royal thing

Depends on your idea of a family holiday, and the region.

We have friends who put their caravan on a beach in Scotland for two weeks and they did not pay a penny. That was around 20 years ago though.

Each to his/her own at the end of the day, thats why we are seasonal. Works out at less than £7 per night if we were there for the entire 35 weeks
