Can some one refresh my memory please - was the fomula determing the amp draw of a unit:

Volts

------ = Amps

Watts

Thanks Doc!!

Brain is in overload right now, just got through an Oracle version 8 to 9 upgrade course in London and I'm not sure even wat day of the week it is right now. Talk about cramming it in yes.gifyes.gif

Might also be worth remembering that the answer is almost always going to be greater than one, if you do the calculation the wrong way round you get an answer less that one. 2000w divided by 230v = 8.7amps, the other way round = 0.115? so this cannot be right.
