Question

Posted

I have no heat coming from my Truma heater I have been told it is the gas ignitor by the company who serviced the caravan but he also said he thinks???? What would be the symptoms of the ignitor being faulty?

All the Truma heaters I had were AA battery powered,I found out the hard way of freezing one New Year...lift front off and should be a little holder at floor level....replace battery and try again.

If it isn't this it could be the thermocouple...but would think anyone with an savvy doing servicing would know this??

geoff

As said has the battery been checked.  It is at the bottom underneath.  I think you may need to remove the from cowling to access it? This just clips off.   Can someone confirm?

We are in the process of getting back into dog ownership . and one of the things to address is pet passport as we HOPE to be off to France in July I am struggling to understand the requirements for taking a dog to France, and the time scale for outward and return processes Firstly if things remain as they are , then if there is a “No Deal” exit . , And then should   we  even plan to get a dog before July   In simple terms once having got a passport ( our vet will charge around £150)what is next , and on return do we have to visit a French vet . If no deal I guess that it will back to the dark ages with long periods of quarantine
