The Motorhome Hire Franchise has today (16th October 2018) unveiled a monumental five year partnership with leading European motorhome manufacturer Adria, at this year’s Motorhome and Caravan Show.

Adria has committed to provide 500 luxury motorhomes to the value of £30M to the company over five years to service its planned franchise network. This will make the Motorhome Hire Franchise the UK’s only supplier of Adria’s superior vehicles for rental.

The franchise, launching to the public for the first time at the show, was set up by motorhome specialist David Gill who, having run Motorhome Hire Scotland since 2010, spotted a gap in the market for a concept that enabled others to develop their own successful business based on his proven model.

David Gill of The Motorhome Hire Franchise comments, “The motorhome hire industry is thriving however, with over 200 independent motorhome hire businesses across the UK, customer service and experience varies enormously, so this national network of motorhome hire ‘hubs’ means consumers can be safe in the knowledge that the brand will deliver the same high quality vehicles and service every time. Our years of professionalism in the motorhome industry, combined with strong franchising experience offers a proposition that sets new standards in the market.”

Slavica Sterk, managing director of Adria Concessionaires said: “At Adria we have grown a strong market share over many years across Europe but our recent research shows there is a trend for ‘trying’ over ‘buying’ with younger generations in the UK, as they are increasingly looking for experiences over investments. This has created a key opportunity for market penetration in the UK and the partnership with The Motorhome Hire Franchise is our chance to really shake up the marketplace with this new proposition.”

For those who are looking for a rewarding investment in a motorhome, without the commitment of running a business, can take advantage of the separate Motorhome Hire Investment scheme offered. For an initial investment, this allows participants a highly competitive 8% return over three years, with two weeks of free motorhome usage each year.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME A MOTORHOME HIRE FRANCHISEE AND BE ONE OF ONLY 25 BUSINESS PARTNERS THAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ACROSS THE UK AND IRELAND?

OK thanks - I'll try that and see if it's anywhere near the 1050cm I believe it to be based on the caravan size (assuming that THAT's correct lol).

Quite right, the beading length is not the one dictating the size.  The "A" dimension is from the ground back to the ground on the opposite side. As the awning's sides themselves don't quite  touch the ground, but stand about 5 cm above it, I would measure it along the van face edge as follows. From the lowest corner of the LH side panel right round along the beading to the lowest corner of the RH side panel,. Then to this add 10 cm for the "ground standoff" 5 cm each side to get the "A" size.   [Practically It could be easier to measure to a centre seam if that is a feature of the awning, and double that plus adding on that 10 cm.]
