I’ve made a list of sites with in approximately 1 hour drive away . No more than 1 1/2 hours away . There were about 15+ just in case we can get away for a few days when there is good weather .

We wont go again now until maybe the end of March .

Do any of you stay near home ?

We go to an odd rally or two that are only 15/20 miles away, usually to meet specific friends.

We used to live at our  cl site at Maxey, a whole nine miles down the road. We loved it there. Nice basic site, no hook up, no block, just a water tap and cess pit and a top rate fishing lake. . A fiver a night!! Now longer a cl site....

Would have been ideal for us now. Alas....:sad2:

We have lots of places where we could have gone last night with the grandkids who INSISTED on sleeping in the motorhome but ended up at the closest site of all Ourgate  so heating on and everyone slept like logs cosy guess where we are tonight - - same place

Not the first time we've done that Gray. When we returned from France and found our delightful tenants had half wrecked the house we duly set up camp on the front, luckily el/hook up, water tap and drain, we even set up the sat dish. We now go away more often using the clubs CS/CL's  within a couple of hours, recently Conkers, Wellsbourne, Youlgreave, Blackwell, Kingsbury, next weekend at Ratcliffe Culey then down to Barnstones Banbury over Christmas & New Year.

Happy caravanning.
