The Girl on The Train, and what are you reading?

I have just finished reading this book The Girl on the train, by Paula Hawkins after all the hype and reviews.

IMPO, too depressing, and took me a while to work out who was who and why because it kept jumping from different girls who all came connected in the end.

Might read her new book, into the water, see if that is any better.

What are you reading and is it a good book to recommend?

Just finished' A Long Time Dead' by Andrew Barrett.

It's about a SOCO called Roger Conniston, got a hell of a twist at the end.

Now for book 2 in the series.

I was disappointed with girl on the train .

I read all the Phillipa Gregory books about the tudors starting with  "the white queen " then the "red queen " I read them all and loved them . Now if I can I am visiting all the locations linked to the history of the tudors .

Twekesbury abbey , amazing and Sudley castle . Fabulous . With a display of richard the third . And a exhibition about how his body was discovered in the car park . On my list is also Ludlow etc ..

Im now reading about jasper tudor . Not by the same author .
