Leisurewise Ontario 390 Awning problems

Question

Posted (edited)

Just back from our first outing with our porch awning and wondered what we did wrong (or if it's not right for our caravan).

Seems to fit fine, but the padded "buffers" each side which I think should fit snugly against the side of the van don't and the poles that came with it don't seem quite the right length (they sit against the buffer).

I also found the inside was dripping wet each morning - condensation as it didn't leak when it rained. Obviously not ideal at all.

Our van in an Abbey Piper 414 (1995) if that helps.

Have attached (hopefully) pics. Wondering if we've done something wrong, missed something or it's just not suitable for our van. It also doesn't seem to reach the floor properly (unless it's meant to look like this),

Any help would be very gratefully  recieved
