Austria

Wonder why there is not a page on this Forum for Austria. It is a very poplar Country to visit these days by Brits and is Spectacular and very cheap, The Fuel is the same price or a couple of Cents dearer than Luxembourg. Food is Cheap and so is Clothing. We have visited Austria every year for 12 years now and it is our Favourite Country. The Countryside, Mountains and Lakes are breathtaking and Pristine. The Austrian people are so friendly and helpful 90% speak/understand English. For more info on Austria go here

Hi Dianne,

Do hope you are well, the link is not available !!! I'd suggest others can look on your superb Website for info .

BTW : Over in the UK in a couple of weeks then up to Vollenhove, North Holland then on down to see our friends at Prumtal Camping for a week or so.

Happy caravanning, indoors, Ray.

Hi Indoors Thanks for that. It is just strange that Austria is not included. Sorry we will not be meeting up at Prumtal. Everybody is the same there except there is a Dutch guy helping in the Office now he is very nice and helpful. Another baby is expected before we get there by Daniel and Sabrina. Such a lovely family running the Camp site and Thomas running the Restaurant with Karl and Steve still. The new Gate system is better than before and the new Shower Block is 5* and the new 80 Service pitches are excellent. They have just received an award. Excellent WiFi all over campsite.

Happy caravanning

Dianne

Hi Dianne,

All change again ( Oh to be in a relaxed state again !! ), when in the UK at Christmas we lost my sister, this time a brother is not looking good with cancer. We did Harwich / Hook and up to Vollenhove and our friend Peiter is very poorly with asbestosis and had to leave early to home in Groningen. We today travelled from Vollenhove to Neufchatel en Bray and are staying at Camping Sainte Claire,( alright but too many Brit's ) here a couple of nights then on down to the Loire and home. Do hope you've had a good trip and enjoying every minute. We'll no doubt catch up later and hope you can join us for a glass or two sometime soon. Lot's of love, best wishes and Happy Caravanning, Ray & Jean. xx
