Stealth Caravans - by Dunster house

Can any one remember what happened to these caravans ---Launched in a great big blase of glory about 5 or 6 years ago.

At he time they were going to revolutionise the caravan concept.

They were nice at the caravan shows.

Now can't find one advertised by any one.

They weren't going to have dealers and could reduce the prices accordingly.

But I don't think it worked out.

Has any one got one --seen one

Be nice to understand what happened to them.

Maurice

Poorly built and no trade in value. Many customers left with burnt fingers.

When I collected our van from the storage yard a couple of weeks ago there was one in there. that's the only one I've ever seen out in the wild.

They LOOKED good at the show -but got a bad press from the regular caravan community - perhaps they would have been better suited as a permanent mobile --

Wouldn't mind on on a regular long term site

Built into a commercial box trailer, pretty awful.

One on site in France but only overnight.

I think "many customers" may be an overstatement as I think they only ever managed to sell (and deliver) about 20 units.

Apologies instead of "many" I should have written "all" customers left with burnt fingers. After had two newbie caravan manufacturer start ups fail in the past 3 years, I doubt if people would be enthusiastic about buying from any other than decides to start up building caravans.

AS we know Bailey stopped burning their bridges; Going is a concern and Fendt for themselves.

Still got my Stealth Q58 after 6.5 years and it has been fine.  It is a shame that some people had issues mainly with Dunster House and now the few remaining have a bad name because of a few bad reviews.  Many other caravan makers have bad reviews but they are still going which points to a bad company and not a bad caravan.
