12 volt socket

I would like a 12v socket in my bailey Senator indiana just wondering best place to take the feed from. Direct from battery with an inline fuse or is there a

better solution.

I guess it depends what you want to use it for.

You may find that you have spare capacity on your existing fuse box - which means you could take a feed direct from there.

If just have an issue with the location of one 12v socket and want it in another location you could take a feed from that but then you are in danger of over loading the circuit.

If nothing spare on the fuse box I would take a direct feed from the battery (IMHO) and fuse it from there - just making sure you use the correct rating of wire and fuse etc.
