Sounds daft but check the tap filter unscrew the end of the tap and there is a particle filter on the end gets cloggged up easily with lime scale

I know it's not a caravan tap but you can see the screw in filter on the ned of this one

The clear pipe is there to allow 'air in' to assist draining, the valve it connects too should be vertical and the clear pipe turn through 180degs and down through the floor.

If the valve is already vertical then it's faulty, if so and to solve it for now, simply clamp the pipe with a pair of mole grips or similar, tie a knot in it or plug the end, this will cure the problem and allow water to the taps.

Hi - we had a similar problem in a lunar clubman, and ended up having to put in a new "Non Return Valve" though as a temporary measure, we managed to get it flowing by turning on the hot tap and keeping our finger over the tap outlet, forcing the water to go back along to the tank. It moved some bits of muck that had built up, but was only a temporary measure until we could get hold of a new valve.

Hope you are able to get it sorted quickly and that it doesn't spoil your holiday.

Margaret

The person can be on elbow crutches with a carer so no issue there either. Can i suggestr that you either take a mobility scooter as it takes ages to get around the halls or hire a scooter on the premises.  I think it is £15 for the day so well worth it.

Thanks for that useful information, Surfer.   I certainly didn't know about that particular concession. You've left me wondering now if the NEC show has the same arrangement if the disabled person is not in a wheelchair and arrives with a carer intending to pay at the door?  They would not necessarily have proof they were disabled.
