It should tell you in your caravan manual how tight to tighten them.

If not ask your dealer, when we take our van for a service we have to watch them tighten the wheel nuts to the correct pressure and sign to verify that the check has been done.

I'm sure you mean the CARAVAN nuts Mart.

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

There was an excellent article in the CC mag about 3 or 4 months back telling you what they should be and why it's so important not to overtighten them.

I have tried several times to access the CC site downloads but the links don't seem to be working. There is a leaflet on Wheels and Tyres in a pdf file but I can't get it.

It's in the members section. Perhaps someone else could try as it may be my computer.

According to Alko, the torque setting for their wheels is 88Nm for steel wheels and 110Nm for alloys.

Wheel Torque:

88Nm = 65lbf/ft

110Nm = 81lbf/ft

Please be aware that if your caravan uses wheel NUTS instead of BOLTS, the the tightening torque may be different.

      I’m off again on Thursday and hopefully getting more. That fish was my first from this water for a long time. I left the club about 15 years ago. There have been a lot of changes since then especially in the fish size apparently there are at least 20x20s and 4x30s. So I am hoping for something a lot bigger
