Idm 2000 Caravan Alarm

Question

Posted

Can anyone help? I have just purchased a used Coachman Pastiche from a dealer, it has the IDM 2000 alarm fitted, However, i do not know the code, the dealer does not know the code, they advised me to call cec plug in systems, but their line seems to be disconnected!!

Does anyone know how i can enter a new code without knowing the original code?

Please can someone help??

Regards

Press and hold the "F" key until you hear 5 "pips". This restores the alarm to Factory Settings. The code no. is then "1234".

Hi Allan

I have an Abbey Spectrum with same alarm

if you find the main box for the system mine is under seats there is a reset button and the original manufacturer's code is 1234

then you can set your own code if you like.

Hope this solves your dilema

Thanks

Curley

If that's the case then it's no different from the IDM 1 then
