Rhyno Motor Movers

Question

Posted

Came across Rhyno caravan movers. Does anyone have one or know anybody that has one? Are they any good? They seem to be a little cheaper than the other makes.

I don't think Rhyno do the link bar, so you have to get to both sides of the van and engage the two motors individually.

I have a Rhyno mover fitted on my current van. I am not impressed. Had some issues always my fault :undecided: which really annoy me :sneaky:

Working now with lifetime to me guarantee.

Price wise by the time he talked me into their uprated one so now no cheaper than the rivals but thought I would give a UK firm the business.

Would I buy one again? NO!!

Mover delivered today... thumbup.gif

When you work for a pack of incompetent comedians like wot I do....you can't help but expect that other firms are equally inept and things are bound to go wrong. So far though, it seems that things happen exactly as Powrwheel tell you they will. thumbup.gifthumbup.gif

I've gone for this deal as well, should be fitted next week!! cheering.gifpepper.gifcheering.gif

cheers for the info Iain. thumbup.gifthumbup.gif

I spoke to them yesterday and they have no reconditioned units that will suit me at the moment.

Apparently, as I have shock absorbers, I need the heavy duty model and they are not available very often!

So, back to the original question .. what are Rhyno like?

Now you must tell Powrtouch, So they can price match.

If it was me, I'd have the Powrtouch, only 'cause of the testimonials from members !

Tony was telling us that they have now got electric systems for switching the mover onto the wheels, wonder how much they are?

Or are they for the future?

I know someone who has had one of the first Rhyno movers fitted to her Hobby caravan. (with shock absorbers, of course)

She reckoned that the info. on the 'phone and the response from the Rhyno guys (forgotten the name) was first class. It looks a hefty well designed unit, (doesn't use 'grit' rollers, IIRC) and she is perfectly happy with it. And it was something ~?100, or more, cheaper than the rest. (Not the prices on their website)

Could be worth talking to them at least, especially as they are still trying to get a foot-hold in the market. Ask 'em to 'make my day'!

I know of the club/association discount with Rhyno.

The blokes are trying hard for the powertouch business and reputation.

Time will tell.

Ian Bellie sure you'll be very happy thumbup.gif
