It's slightly worrying that you only decided "on a whim" to check the pressures. They really need to be checked at least monthly.

I agree. This site: http://www.fact-reviews.com/defrag/Why.aspx has a good overview of the subject.

Try Paint.net which is a free download and (from my initial view) seems to have many of the functions of Photoshop Elements. I have the latter but rarely use more than a small proportion of its functionality.

But as long as they can cope with the MTPLM then they should be OK (even if close to the limit). I would not be surprised if the axle limit would be higher than the MTPLM.

I see no reason why you shouldn't swap over the leads for either side at the control box. I have a copy of the installation manual which states precisely this. PDF of the relevant page attached.

Nice to see a sensible comment for once on this topic.

There are a few CLs run by the local council. There's one on a cricket ground at Puddletown in Dorset (near Tolpuddle) run by the parish council.

I'm not sure why as with 2 tonne kerbweight the 85% guideline would still allow a 1700Kg van.

    Absolutely. If there was 1 in 2009 and 2 in 2010 that's a 100% rise.

So good that that's how it is in the 13 pin setup!

Before I switched to 13 pin (far better) I always carried a spare 12S plug just in case that sort of thing happened. And of course a wiring diagram with all the other technical data.

You could still find the caravan brakes overheating as they are applied when the van tries to "overtake" the car. This can happen when the car is slowed down either by the brakes or by being in a low gear as there is no direct connection between the two braking systems.
