The late October 10 day break for the last time in this van was a bit draughty with BRIAN blowing but still enjoyable .
Looks as if December in the new van is a no go as will not receive it until mid to late December and I have to go into Papworth hospital for a 'bypass' on the 22nd.
That means a great Christmas for me. Hayho, here's to next year.

Finally finished erecting the awning for a 10 night stay in Norfolk.
Last time with this awning and caravan, roll on December for a trip out in the new van when it should be ready to collect.
    Happy days

  11. Lipton added a post in a topic Automatic tow cars

My tug is a 2000 Passat Estate Auto, So far ( touch wood) I have had no problems in the 3  years I have had it, I haven't see much difference in fuel MPG ( diesel,) on a journey to Dorset I get a return of about 32 MPG which for towing I was quite pleased with, also with an auto it is a nice lazy way to travel.

I took my poles pieces and added an rubber pad to the cam pad. This has solved the problem.
