As history shows from the past to many shows ends up with not enough money to keep the shows going = No shows . Traders wont be able to pay to attend all the shows so it will limit the amount of people attending the shows as not everything will be at the show .
I noticed this with Hobby caravans that attended the other shows but did not attend the Excel .
Take the mileage on a Jap import as not gospel as most are clocked before they go into auction to try and get a better price . Its not illegal to alter clocks in Japan and the clock will read kilometers while in Japan and its not a requirement to read miles here so its not knowing when it was changed and if (normally changed when the speed restrictor is removed) . I You can only go on the condition of the vehicle to get an idea of its life as usually all paperwork like service records are removed or I have heard of counterfeits .
I used to buy and import vehicles from Japans auctions before it got flooded with grey imports and prices went into freefall .
Sounds like as said could be an earth problem . If I remember right my reversing light on the tow car are cancelled out when the caravan is connected and only the caravan reverse light comes on as is the same for the fog light.
I know the feeling !!! I bought the OH a new car £31k a few months ago and she had it a couple of weeks then had an argument with a bollard in a car park and the bollerd won to the cost of £3000 repairs and loaded our insurances .
