Jill said £500 we can go to Ireland, ferry and accommodation for a week.......but that covers Guinness and fishing bait too! I don't know what club sites charge as I only ever use them if a rally is on them, and that is rarer and rarer as the Club prefer full paying visitors! geoff
Friends who have had two air porch awnings have recently gone back to conventional Isabella porch.......too heavy and unwieldy they find. Comments above on Kampa Limpets...reports on another Forum,in depth,of people who have found them leaving rings on the 'van,or pulling decals off. I have some but as yet unused as didn't put an awning up this year.
Whatever you do M&M enjoy, we have had a few good holidays in France just doing B&B's,most of them pre-booked,not all. Oddly enough very few were French owned,Brits,Dutch,German and even a Russian...but all good value. geoff
The only time the 'van doesn't move in when a gale is blowing. We have never cancelled a trip because it was/is/will be raining......we have cancelled when snow has arrived and the towing would be unsafe. geoff
Have two friends who had similar problems to the Aunt mentioned above. First one had management problems, i.e. 'agent' using static and not paying. Second one fell foul of the no old 'vans on this site rule, but site-owners would buy it off them at 10% what had paid.... Wouldn't recommend it...
