We spent Easter at this site - advertised as a CL in the CC book but has now got planning permission for 10 vans (approx). The site is at the top of a ploughed field, it is flat and there are hook-ups and a WC and shower and the access is good. The site is next to the White Dog Inn which is a nice pub, serving great food. The owner of the pub and site is very friendly and helpful. The site is very quiet, you would hardly know the pub was there. Ewhurst Green is a very small and pretty village - only a pub and church - no shop.
The best bit of all are the fantastic views. Because there are no vans sited in front of you, everybody gets an amazing view over the valley and some get a view of Bodiam Castle. There is also a small steam train that runs through the valley every half an hour or so. I've enclosed a few photo's. We'll definately go there again.

Thanks Lynne. I already have that one, see http://tinyurl.com/yueok and then scroll down the list. I hope you don't mind but I have added your comments to the site.
Not sure what happened to your photo, had you compressed their size, it could be the file was too big. If you have a photo of the caravan site please try again or better still email a copy to me at ptpenfold@aol.com
Thanks again. Pete. thumbup.gif

Thanks Mick. I have added it to the website. Do you have any photos of vans on the site and any idea of prices etc. What a pathetic excuse, "won't be a minute love, just going to the loo"...............3 hours later, "sorry I'm late for lunch, they ran out of loo rolls" Thats the fun of pubsites. jump1.gif
Thanks. Pete.
P.S. Lucky village, they also have the Sun and Anchor which is also a pubsite.
