Thanks Graham.
Chris joined me when we were in France and we went out hunting on his I-phone.
Amazed that there were three locations within 1/2 mile of our camp site.
We spent ages looking and got the Lat/Long coordinates fairly accurately using the Tom-tom live.
We mush have looked very suspect hunting under rocks in an old castle!!

Any way at home looked last night and have a Lat/Long for a place just down the road o a green bridleway -- we walk that way sometimes as well - never drammed!
So we will have to go out looking.

Haven't PAID to join the Premium web site - Chris says that comes later when you get good at it

So of we go hunting

I'm not sure if things have changed since I joined but you used to be able to join without paying - the subscription is for 'Premium' members and gives you access to additional caches and allows you to run queries so you can upload bulk sets of caches to your GPSr

I've been a member for ages but have been too busy to get out much recently

Do you use your Sat Nav for finding locations or something like Google maps -- which I have a a live App on my Samsung tablet.
Going out tomorrow to walk a Green Lane foot path that we normally walk and look for a "nice tree" with a "posh box" at "waist height".

Might feel a prat walking along with the tablet though !!

Maurice

I use the Android App c:geo  with it you log on to Geocache and it incorporates Google Maps and overlays the caches over the top any caches you find it marks with a smiley face on the cache icon on the "Live Map"
it's a FREE app too although not an approved one it works very well
