Hi all. Just took up camping after giving up the static caravan due to ever increasing site fees.
Booked into Blue Bell Farm for our maiden trip as it's only an hour or so from our home.
It's a lovely small site with a few statics and some long-stay caravans plus pitches for caravans and tents.
We were the only campers and were pitched inbetween the visiting/long stay caravans but space wss plenty. Great level site and really friendly owners who were very helpful. We pitched our Gelert Atlantis without any hassle. The site facilities eere good if a little dated. Co-op store right outside the park and a chippy beside the enterance. Great pubs serving great food close-by.
Only downside was that there is a lot of wildlife on the park and they like to start voicing their opinions very very early. But it's a small price to pay fir an idyllic setting.
Very close to A1 and within 15 mins of Alnwick, Berwick, Bamborough Castle and the beautiful Northumbrian coastline.
All in all well recommended.
