Indeed it has since we had our last carvan. We are now living back in scotland in retirement. Now we are thinking about getting a 2 berth, poss with an end bathroom and changing our car.

We are very much out of the loop as far as caravanning is concerned not sure how things have changed. To be honest I do not want to spend a huge amount on either car or van, The pension situation means we do not have a lot of cash to splash.

Lots of questions to be answered, do we buy privately or do we use a dealer, what caravan? what car?  and which motor mover? neither of us are in any fit condition to move a van by hand anymore.  At present I have a June 2008 Skoda Fabbis green line, diesel, very low mileage, Need to find out it value, do I put it in PE or sell privately??????? so many questions.

I have been trawling our two local dealers, they have a couple of vans which might suit, but do we get the van then the car, or the car then the van??????

I know someone on here will supply the answers.........
