Heaven is where the police are British, the cooks Italian, the mechanics German, the lovers French, and it is all organised by the Swiss.

That's awesome Mark - I never read the stuff they send and wouldn't have looked - so thanks.

Lucky for me Mrs H loves F1.

That's the impact of taking F1 away from Free-to-air (FTA) channels - all those of us who only use FTA channels don't even notice when the events are on - it's not good for the sport medium or long term.

Perhaps the fact that F1 is "free" this weekend is an indication of the poor take-up of Sky F1 chargeable channels.

My thoughts exactly, although looking into it's ALL Sky Sports channels - not just F1.

Fully agree Roger. If I didn't already subscribe to SkyHD (extra £10 on the basic package), I would not pay to see F1HD. I suspect Sky will charge extra for F1HD, once they have captured enough interest or gullible subscribers? I have to say that so far I am impressed by the coverage they provide, but it does not imspire me to pay anymore than I already do.

Signed up for love film tonight - I could ditch sky for all other channels but once you add sport you might as well take the  others - although we don't have to pay for multi room or movies anymore as sky let us these free for the next 12 months.

The "trouble" With sky is when they do sport they do it so well - you have little choice - tomorrow I'm going to see a non league preseason friendly game and it will cost me 20 quid for 2 hours - that's a month of sky sports.

I cancelled by Sky Sports subscription as my Virgin V+ box is so rubbish it would hang during a long race and skip laps on rare occasions. But you're right - Sky do have some great coverage. Plus you get Georgie Thompson on Sky Sports F1.
