He's not Scottish, he's British - at least that's what the media will say !

I note that having won this match, he is hailed as the first BRITISH player to make the final for umpteen years.
I hope he wins, but if he should be runner up no doubt he will revert to being Scottish . . .

Cheers

I think the problem is that early on HE referred to himself as Scottish, not British so he only has himself to blame if people say the same!

If Murray wins tomorrow, he'll be the first Brit to win a Wimbledon title in about 18 hours - Britain's Jonathan Marray has won the Mens Doubles title tonight, partnered by Denmark's Frederik Neilson.

Edit - bi6als, you beat me to it!

I've never understood the anti-scots-welsh-irish thing. For me, i have always got behind the home nations. I guess the only people with a gripe are those south of junction 7 of the M6 who are probably more affiliated with the french and the germans than anything else!!!!! lol

Ahh but did you note 'we' have not won that one since 38 either, so Marray is the first to break the duck and Murray will be second when he wins tomorrow...he will win BTW
