Only a standard size chocolate labrador, but in an awning of 3.8 metres long. She sleeps in her own small tent, trying to get her to sleep in the awning alone results in her trying to get under the caravan/out of the awning at 3.00am or whenever she hears someone walk past or sees it getting light! An annexe would then possibly let her have her own space keeping the rest of the awning free for my daughters junk/wife's shoes.
In that case can see the point.
From my limited experience of annexes they tend to zip in place of the side panel and then depending on the make either have a full frame or work similar to porch awnings whereby they have a simple frame and rely on the guy ropes to pull them tight and remain upright. Some come with a "door " into the awning but my last one just had a simple curtain
