Going onto the ferry we were told about the stickers we should be using for caravans over 3.5 tonnes I think eg 60, 90 (correct me if wrong) I ignored it but noticed some of the vans about my size eg single axle hobbys and such have 100 stickers on?
Do we have to use them or are we ok?

According to the CC the speed stickers which were introduced in France the other year year were compulsory for us and then a few months later it was decided they were not as long as we knew which speeds were allowed and stuck to them, although a lot of the folk that travel Europe a lot have decided to put them on thier vans.
I have the stickers but have not put them on my van, but carry them incase a police person over there says i must have and display them.
You can get them from SpeedStickers.co.uk who also detail which stickers are needed for which vehicles, just remember that if you are going to get some stickers they have to be the 6" size not the 4" ones
Dont forget you also need the breathaliser kit for your hols in France this year

I think the 100 kmh stickers are German Tempo 100 stickers, as far as I am aware there is no leagal requirement for UK caravans to display speed stickers however the speed restrictions for vehicles over 3.5 tons apply (unless your French they don,t seem to comply to it)

If you wish to conform the French requirement states 200 mm diameter (slightly less than 8")
