Hello, I'm hoping someone on here can offer some help and advice on repairing Whale Elite Taps.

First time out this year and the tap in the kitchen has sprung a leak.

Winterised as usual, drained everything, left taps open, plugs in plugholes, e.t.c. I even keep a small oil filled radiator on through the worst of the winter.

Did the pre-season checks, filled the system, tested the gas, cooker, heater, water heater, shower every thing working OK.

First rally of the season, go to fill the kettle and there's water leaking from under the lever and running down in side the cupboard, wrapped a cloth round it and spent the weekend jugging water from the bathroom tap.

I've looked on Whale's website,I even E-Mailed them but have had no answer as yet.

Now, is it just a new washer that's needed or a new tap housing, how easy is it to re-fit, washer or tap and where can I get either, I've also just found out that M & M Leisure of Mildenhall have closed, all though I live not far from the Haverhill branch, I all went to Mildenhall if I needed anything.

Sorry for the long post from a newbie (who should be seen and not heard to start with, at least that's the impression I got from another caravan forum I asked for help on) But I'm out again in a couple of weeks and really need to get this sorted.

Many thanks for taking the time to read this.   Maureen.

a new tap is fairly easy to fit the are held in by 1, 11mm bolt and 2 hose clips i did one last weekend for as friend, you can also buy a replacement spout for them, here is one on ebay

I'm not sure if the cartridges are also available
