How university's have totally arbitrary semester start and finish dates - I've just taken Dave back to Coventry for the final semester of his first year, I took Katie and Paul back two weeks ago but Katie finishes at the end of next week and Paul the week after ...

What this means is that Jackie and I will not have had a whole week without one or more of them in the house from the end of March to at least mid September !

Yes Bob.............and semester is supposed to mean two terms but some Unis have three!   I know my daughter had one lot at Liverpool and a different set at Leeds................
