I am not completely sure but I think that campsite is now in private hands so I am not it will be on the Council website? Here are some pictures of the site during our last visit. http://www.davidklyn...pal_chalons.htm

Probably the best Municipal site I have stayed on i France. Had a spooky coincidence there once. We were on the pitch that is bottom left in Davids pictures. The couple on the next pitch Lived 2 streets way from us!!

The tourist information for Chalon still shows it as being a municipal; with site fees at just over €17 per night for 2+Vehicle+EHU

Always happy to meet, sorry to part and happy to meet again!

I've had a look on their website and a lot of sites previously available no longer take the cheques. It seems like the attraction is wearing off. ACSI card seems a better bet.

We normally travel the western side of France on the way down so we usually end up in Normandy

I am still looking as I have just downloaded Archie's new European POI file so got a few more sites to pick from
really looking forward to 1st of September even more now

Hello Travelling south on the east of Paris, Arcis sur Aube, ex Municipal site, or St Remy S/S Barbuise on the N77 (this is a cl type of site, facs only ok and 4 amp electric)
Traveling west of Paris, St Remy sur Avre, just west of Dreux. Camping Municipal du pres de L,Eglise. (Cannot remember opening dates, check CC book) or go to www.campingfrance.com
the only guide we use for france.
Just Remember
We have more years behind us than we have in front.

Forgot to add Arcis about 230 miles south of Calais,
St Remy Sur Avre about 200 miles.
