Does any one use a halogen oven ? Are they any good?
We don't like micro waves . We have seen some one today with a deep fat fryer and a halogen oven in there caravan .
We always cook on our gas hob or use our oven.

Ours is 12 - 1400 watts, not a bad bit of kit, quite handy at home or in van.

The van next to us on the I.o.W last year had one in the awning; I first became aware of it by the sudden glow from the awning! Spoke to the couple and they swear by it, reckoned it was their best buy in 30yrs of vanning - me. I'm yet to be convinced.

Use one at home but never thought to take it away with us (it is 1900w max) . If you decide to go down this route I would thoroughly recommend this book.

Seems this is out of print now-sorry. There are several on Amazon that look equally as good.

We have looked at these. There are a lot of positive reports on Amazon.

Yu couldn't go wrong with this at the price http://www.amazon.co...34396194&sr=8-6

Looks small enough for the caravan and 2 people.

Yes, the oven gives off the same sort of a glow as the heaters do!!

Was exactly like the ones you have been given the link for; early evening with the light fading and placed in the awning they give off quite a glow!

That makes it dual-purpose then !
