Hi all.
Came home from work about midnight on Monday night and our beloved motorhome was not there. It has been stolen. It was fitted wiyh a Vanbits Strikeback alarm system which they obviously were able to overcome they apparently got in through one of the back windows as there was some glass on the floor in that region.
We are absolutely devastated, we worked and saved hard for this our first motorhome and now some B*****D has taken it away. We were going to Driffield next week for the show and to rally with our owners club and in June we were going on a three week trip to Bavaria and Switzerland channel tunnel booked and paid for.
I immediately informed the police and informed them that I had found a pair of pliars at the scene but up until now I have not recieved a visit from them. Not impressed.
The motorhome is a Compass Drifter Merit 410 reg no N439VFJ with a bike rack fitted on the rear, the only distinguishing mark is a graphic high up on the nearside saying JAMIE.
I have been advised that we are unlikely to see it again so to cheer my wife up who was extremely depressed we have already been looking for a potential replacement. We loved touring and rallying in our motorhome and im not going to let some towrags stop us doing this.
