We enjoyed the quiz last night (well we would - we won!Posted Image ) and bike rides yesterday and again this morning.

Cold last night though - we watched a beacon being lit and some fireworks - with a couple more displays visible in the distance. After that it was back to the van to warm up!!

Today it's cool but dry, white cloud  with bits of blue sky. When the sun does come out it's really rather pleasant.

Home now after an uneventful journey.

Thanks to all who helped organise the rally and also to all who made the effort to attend.

We had a great time and enjoyed seeing some old friends and meeting some new ones.

Well today has really had some downpours and the ground is sodden.
The marquee is still up though and now that the wind has dropped it is very still here.
I think tomorrows the day to bring it down as later we will have rain for two days then
saturday looks the best day for any movement so safe to say that a few will be here
still saturday but mass exodus today to beat the storms brewiing !!!

Fagged out but what fun t&t have when they all get together.
And, its like we only saw each other yesterday

A real pleasure to be part of it.

Arrived home from rally today.

Being our first T&T rally we very much enjoyed it and it was nice putting faces to names.

We woiuld like especially like to thank Jean for all her hard work in organising it.

I have uploaded a few photos to the T&T rallies gallery.

Just getting ready to hitch up - sad we have to leave early but met reports are for heavy rain and high winds the next few days plus the daughter mk 1 rang to say one of the front room light fightings is making a crackling noise - without a bulb in it.....
We'd like to say  a big thank you to Dolly and all who helped her organise the rally, roll on the next one!! :-) :-) :-)

Well we have all got home safe and sound - thank goodness !
Thank you to all who attended the rally especially in the awful weather
BUT we certainly had some laughs, made new friends and rekindled old friendships.

Thank you also to our Marshals for overseeing the comings and goings so magnificently.
It could have been a logistical nightmare - but for their seeing people in/out.

The Marquee was a godsend although at times we called it a day and had to cancel a couple
of activities not least the food night - but it gave us a great place to have some fun and games as well as the kids
Jubilee Party and the evening barbecue...

Hopefully more pics will go up soon - thank you Mick for yours.
Thanks to Sonja and Mark for their unswerving support for the team

I am now going back to bed !!! still shattered Posted Image
