Hello everyone,
Don't know if this is the right place for this as its my first time on a forum.
We have decided to take the plunge and have booked Portsmouth - Santander 1st Feb to join hosted caravan club rally at Marjal on 4th Feb for 42 nights
back Santander- Portsmouth March 19th this will be our first winter trip abroad,( we go away anytime of year in this country). We just wondered if anyone could give us
advice about overnight stops, best routes to take that time of year. Is anyone else going and want to travel together? will have all the obvious kit, high viz vests, markers on caravan, warning triangles but bound to forget something regular winter campers may be able to help us out with the obvious things that get left behind. Hope we are not being over cautious as we are looking forward to trip and hoping its the first of many more. All advice aprecciated

We'll be driving down in February to stay in a friends place for a few weeks but would be interested in looking at Marjal which isn't too far away. Is this the new one inland or the other one near Guadamar? pPrhaps we can visit you when we come for a snoop around the site!

Apparently its a new site inland that opens in December, lets hope its not the builders who build the houses on "Homes from hell" or the site may not be there!!
