Sorry let me get me dates right tut

http://www.haleshall...campingpark.com

Wed 20th April 2011 - Wed 27th April, 2011 (7 nights max)

Yes ! Easter is the next Touring and Tenting  Rally and this site is just 5miles from ALTON TOWERS so start collecting your Tesco Vouchers !!!

The rally field is fairly flat with 16 EHUs and a further 8 adjacent so we will have to limit this
to 24  units.max.

£15 per night (normal rates are £19 ) so we have got quite a good reduction.
Toilet and Shower block - Kids Playground - Bar/Games room + bar meals and also
van on site that does takeaway.

The site is on the edge of Cheadle, just outside of Stoke on Trent and opposite is a large museum we think could be
a Transport Museum.

There is a fishing lake on site and they are waiting to stock it so hopefully be good for the anglers amongst us

We have visited the site so can vouch for the rallyfield being flat.
There are 3 fields and one has HSs but not the rally field but there is a gravel road onto the field.

The Bar and Games Room is in a 300yr old Manor House - aptly named HALES HALL

The rally rate extends to every night of the rally which will probably begin
Wed prior to Easter and finish Wed after Easter Monday.

The views are beautiful of the surrounding area from the rally field.

There are 3 toilets and 3 showers in each of the Ladies/Gents
There are 4 washing up sinks and a laundry room.

If you are at all interested please register soon as we are limited to 24 units.

we can't do this one as the school hols are only 1st - 18th April and then just the holiday Friday and Monday of Easter weekend - pity - would have been good to join in.
It's getting ridiculous that none of the school hols except Xmas match up these days!!

Will see about maybe doing the long weekend though.  I had hoped we'd get the dates to tie up at some point over the holidays!

We should be ok for a quite week at NEB then from the 16th April ? or perhaps it would be better to arrive on 17th (Sun) for a better pitch choice ?

waiting for Sans daughter/SIL/grandaughter to decide where they want to spend that week with us (then we will carry on to Northumberland for the next 2 ) but they have mentioned that they had a great time (twice) at NEB last year ....... so they have said they will make their decision soon  :secret:

Put us as interested.  If the place has a licenced bar does that mean we have no where to get together for a bit of enjoyment etc and that we cannot take our own drinks into the meeting area?  Looks quite nice though.
Sometimes I pretend to be normal, but it gets boring so I go back to being me.
