This looks a superb campsite within a Country Park with loads to do

Website http://www.wellingto...try-park.co.uk/

Price will be £9 per night, there is no electric and no facilities (obviously water and elsan point are supplied) This gives you free entry into the Country Park

Although the dates for our mini rally are 9th/10th July we can stay as long as we want for that price, but I will need to know to let the campsite know.

Quote

Our campsite offers the beauty and tranquillity of a woodland, with open parkland, lakes and nature trails to explore.

Included in your stay, is FREE entry to the Country Park where the kid's can let off steam. Climb on, in and through an assortment of play equipment, an adventure play area, slides, dig in sand pits, play crazy golf and ride our miniature railway, theres plenty to keep them busy.

For those not so young, there are plenty of areas surrounding our 35 acre lake to sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The Campsite is an ideal touring base for Hampshire, Berkshire and the South, with easy access for the M3 and M4 motorways.

:wine:

I think there's two rally areas in Wellington Country Park - we were in one last year with Berks CC and had a great time (So much so that we were too busy to go into the park itself !)

Anyway can you put us down as 'Interested' - we won't be able to say one way or the other until Jackie gets her MenCap commitments in a few weeks time (Hopefully)

For those that care there's a Costco just a few miles up the road beside the Madjeski Stadium and loads of pubs in the area too (But maybe not that many within walking distance)

PS
The M4 Junction 11 is a complete nightmare at the moment and looks like staying that way for quite a while - if we can make it I'll come up from Blazingsmoke rather than drag the van through the mess !

For those that have no choice it's not so bad if you're approaching J11 from the east ...
