We're off to France presently and contemplate using the Hampshire DA's THS at Hamble Primary School as a stopover for the Portsmouth ferry. However, given the recent weather, we are a tad worried about ending up on a muddy site right at the start of our trip - I don't want to have to find a hosepipe to clean the outfit as soon as we cross the channel! Has anyone used this THS, and what's the ground conditions like?

I should have posted this ageas ago.....
We did use the THS in the event and it was absolutely superb! No trace of mud or anything unpleasant. Good walking from the site into Hamble and loads of other walks from site, Royal Victoria Park etc. Bus right outside to Southampton. Approx 20 mins to ferry port.
