Hi,

Just bought a second hand Isabella Capri Lux off ebay. Awning was delivered yesterday and the thing is in immaculate condition  thumbup.gif  . The poles are of the fibreglass variety but the instructions are a bit vague as to where the 'G' poles are fitted. They seem to indicate that they fit between the centre roof pole and the two 'AX' poles. The trouble is the clips on the end of the 'G' poles seem a bit narrow to fit round the 'AX' poles especially at the end that the plan shows  .

All help greatfully recieved.

Roadrunner,

Cheers I have downloaded the instructions but I still think the clips are too small to attach to the 'AX' poles close to the van as shown on the instructions. They will fit round the poles at the other end i.e towards the front of the awning, but I am not sure this is correct.

Hi,

Just phoned Isabella and I am now sorted. It didn't help as I was quoting the wrong letter. The poles i couldn't sort are ones which support the canopy btween the centre and end poles. Not sure whether I have explained that very well but I'm sorted now. Thanks Roadrunner for the advice.

Just bought our second Isabella Capri with carbonX poles - this time in burgundy / grey to match the new Swift!

I have to say they are simplicity itself to construct.

Strange thing is we didn't have any rows when building the 18ft Isabella for our previous Abbey so presume it will be the same for the shorter Swift ..... but the rows we had over our little Bradcot porch we had for our Bailey were many and often! stars.gif
