I'm Tom (44 ) and the better half is Sue (about the same age as me ). We have been married for nearly 3 years (2nd time for the both of us) and have 4 kids between us.

Carl      28
Sheryl   25
Thomas 19
Sarah    16

We have been caravaning for 4 years and are on our 4th van. We intend to keep this one for a while. We try to go away at least once a month and enjoy our local DA rallies. I am the treasurer of The Whitbread Caravan Club and we have about 10 rallies a year in the North West.
We have 2 grandchildren Toni-Marie aged 3 (who would go away every weekend with us if we let her ) and Ben who is 10 weeks.

We are going on our first  T&T rally at New Year and are looking forward to meeting everyone and having a drink or two with you.

I thought I would bring this enty up to date...

There are four of us... ALL registered on T & T.  cheering.gif

Jim (olderbutnotwiser)

Gail (trophywife)

Gemma (Mysteeqa) aged 12

Adam (celloub) aged 9

Cromer at new year (2004/2005) was our first T&T rally...and only our third caravan trip.  Since then we haven't looked back, we've been on every T&T rally since, on several "meet ups" and on various other caravan trips. We replaced our original van (A 1988 Trophy) with a new Adria in July 2005 (courtesy of a real bargain on eBay) and are currently considering upgrading our tow car to a 4x4.

Well......?  There's:

Me - ArtistsRifles - real name Neil, born 1956 - mostly harmless apart from odd times but with funny habits.....
Wife mk 1 - real name Val, born 1949 - not registered on T&T - yet - as she's a technophobe of the 1st order.? Very good at talking though - think hind leg of donkey
Daughter mk1 - real name Tanya, born 1990 - I think she's registered but Ive no idea what user name .
No animals other than me!!!!

Been vanning for about 5 years - first van was a 1992 Abbey Oxford GT that we PX'ed in 2003 for the curent GTS Vogue.? Camped in a frame tent for about 6 years before that though.

First rally was the 2003/204 Cromer one (where we found, to our, embarassment, the 4WD on the pajero wasn't working..) and been to most since.?  Booked on the Bodiam castleand Cheddar events for this year.? Will be taking the van to France - Normandy - for the firt time in August.? Haven't tried any other rallies apart for the T&T ones yet but may well do this year.?  If you're looking for us on a rally usualy just follow the smell of curry as we seem to have adopted the habit of dishing up a curry one evening on the longer rallies.

Oh yeah - we're also J.W.'s but we leave the horns and tails at home when on rallies devil.gif? devil.gif

Hi All

Just to update Neil's earlier entry we now have another addition, our dog Toby, whose first rally was the Bonfire rally at Thriftwood (or should I call it the mud rally) yes once again we were bogged down and had to be towed off the pitch.  Toby seemed to enjoy the rally (apart from the fireworks to which he showed his greatest displeasure by barking and growling at each bang) and the attention he received from all T & T rs.  He seemed to be a great hit with everyone.

See you all at New Year's rally.

Hi all, We have never been on a T&T rally yet but are definately going on the one in October.

We are me (Dally) Stewart, 42 and a drayman for S&N

She is, Sandra (five days older than me) Got real stick when she turned 30 and I was still in my 20s. A checkout supervisor at Morrisons.

We have 2 girls. Emma 18, won't come with us, no street cred and Nicola 15, a vanner of the future.

We started caravanning in 2004 with an Ace Jubilee Ambassador and then with a Swift Charisma 555. We now have a Ace Supreme Twinstar and we love it.

Since becoming vanners we have had loads of long and short breaks in it including 3 weeks in France last year. Definately the best holiday I've had.
We do a lot of rallies with Tom A and Sue (usually taking Tom becouse we feel sorry for him).
I don't want to wish my life away but I look forward to a time when we will have more time to enjoy our hobby.

Mr December, that's me Bob. I'm a retired firefighter, and wagon driver, UK & Europe. Mrs December, Sue works for the Civil Service. We have two sons, who no longer live at home, hooray, and five, grandchildren. This is our second caravan, and we plan to use it at least twice per month here in the UK, and at least one long trip in Europe every year. My mobility is a little restricted, which means I have to stop and rest frequently, and have a glass or two of medicine, the red verity(French).  Buxton will be our first rally, unless Lee can get our little Yorkshire rally of the ground. We look forward to meeting one and all. See you very soon.

Update.  Bob and I have now attended various rallies and had a fantastic time on each occasion.  Everyone is so welcoming and we have made so many new friends.

We too have taken 2 of our grandchilden {Kyle and Oliver} with us on a couple of rallies and they love it, always asking when they cam come again.  In addition,  Monty our 4 month old Shih Tzu had his first taste of winter caravaning at he New Year's Rally.  What an introduction.   However, he loved it, especially the snow.

We are now looking forward to attending as many events as we possibly can in 2006 especially the Whitsun Rally in France.
