We paid �15 per unit in 2009/2010 will let you know later about price for this year

Now numbers!
We are going to limit this to 32 pitches, first come first booked.
This year for good reason there were a fair few cancellations and we were down to 23 families, so hopefully if we allow 32 pitches we may end up with about the right amount of bookings

Deposit is going to be �21 on paypal or �20 for cheque or cash
This is made up of
�10 towards the pitch fees,
�5 returnable for the entrance cards (if we have to pay like this year on arrival for the card, this will come off pitch fees)
�5 for the music etc

It is really great to have the whole building for the duration of our rally and it is such a great meeting place, also Newark is pretty central for everbody

Easter 1st - 4th April - Forest of Dean area

Whitsun 29th May/6th June - Chester area

Early Sept - Melton Mowbray area

October half term 22/31st Oct 2010 - Cambridge Parklands Holidays (thread here)

New Year 2010 - might be Newark again?

Obviously there may be more as we go along

If you have a look at our map of where we have rallied in the past, you can see we are filling the gaps

Any event anybody thinks we should plan around?

We are still looking at the balloon festa and the jousting events

Wellington Country Park 9th/10th July '10 - Mini Rally

This looks a superb campsite within a Country Park with loads to do

Price will be �9 per night, there is no electric and no facilities (obviously water and elsan point are supplied) This gives you free entry into the Country Park

Although the dates for our mini rally are 9th/10th July we can stay as long as we want for that price, but I will need to know to let the campsite know.

Ladies Driving Challenge

The ladies driving challenge 2010 is all about having a great day out while raising some cash for charities. The ladies get to drive all sorts of things from fire engines to tanks, lorries to sports cars.

Its a great day out.

We need to book those ladies who want to do the driving challenge very quickly, but of course other folks can come along, either to watch or just join in the weekend.

Options:

You can either take part in the driving challenge, don't worry you are not competing, just having fun

Or

Come along to the rally and have a bit of a get together.

Although it is not possible to confirm a full itinerary of vehicles until close to the event date due to changing commitments of suppliers, the types of vehicles which have featured regularly at these events include :-
HGV Lorries,
Quad Bikes,
Double Decker Buses,
Sports Cars,
Fire Engines,
Heavy and Light Plant,
Agricultural, Motaball, Honda Pilot,
Golf Buggies, Fork Lift Trucks, Gators,
Mini Diggers, 4X4 Off Road and many more.

To qualify to take part, ladies must hold a current UK driving licence, which they must produce on the day of the event.

It is truly the most fantastic fun and its all in the name of charity too

French Rally, Whitsun 2010

We are very pleased to announce that we have booked a rally for Whitsun time in Annecy, in Camping Europa

Hope you are also bowled over by the campsite, we are, looks great and the area is truly beautiful.

The price per night is only 15.50E for 2 people and electric (6 amps) Holiday tax is 0.25E each person
Extra prices are
- Extra person = 4.20 �/night
- Extra child 2 - 4 years old = 2.90 �/night
- Baby : no charge
- Water & drainage connected : 4.20 �/night
- Dogs : 3 �/night

Although this is school holidays it is a long way for some folks to travel as it is about 500 miles from Calais but we are hoping that some families can make it. The school holidays are two weeks for most folks and there is a bank holiday included in the dates.
