After a 12 month lay off due to idleness I have been back to the gym to-night!! I went to our local JJB Fitnss Club. Did 20 mins on cross trainer, 10 on x-country skier, 10 on bike and 5 on stair climber. So 45mins exercise then did something foolish - 30 mins of weights!! The machine was telling my heart rate was averaging 150bpm - don't know if that's good or not? Now for those who don't know me I'm a big lad and far removed from your typical fitness guy! A work out for me is cleaning the Cadac! So all in all I'm very pleased with myself (and also for doing my first blog)! Reason for getting off backside - we are going to France in 4 weeks and have high expectations of lots of walking, cycling and swimming (and carrying beer back from Champion supermarche!). Anyone else go to the Gym regularly? Kev
